Michael E. Green, M.D.
Dr. Michael E. Green graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He has been a member of the Gallatin medical community since 1994, when he was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology, and served as past president of the Gallatin Lions Club, where he worked to benefit the Vanderbilt Children's Eye Center.

Adam J. Couts, O.D.
Dr. Couts received his undergraduate in Biology from Indiana University and then attended the Southern college of Optometry in Memphis, TN where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Couts joined Green Eye Center in 2014 .
Dr. Couts enjoys seeing patients of all ages. He provides a full range of optometric care from pediatric vision exams to adult specialty contact lens fittings. He provides medical management for ocular conditions including diabetic eye exams, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eyes, allergies, conjunctivitis, and emergency management of foreign body removal and corneal abrasions. He met his wife Anne at Indiana University. They have three adorable children. Free time includes outdoor activities, hiking, camping, boating, fishing, sports, live music and standup comedians. |
